To access these databases outside of a library branch, you may be asked to enter a valid County of Lennox & Addington Libraries card number (using no spaces) and PIN. Please note that we have had to end our subscriptions with several of our databases as a result of the cuts to the provincially funded Tier 1 program. is the world’s largest online family history resource – including historical records, photos, stories, family trees and a collaborative community of millions. Note: There is no remote access available for this product, it is only available on the Library’s catalogue stations and wireless network at our branches.

Are you stuck for a good book to read? NoveList is your complete guide to fiction for adults and young adults. You can explore new worlds of fiction through several search options:

  • Search by author, title or series
  • Use plot keywords to find new titles
  • Browse lists of award-winning fiction

Children and young adults, from kindergarten to grade 8, can use Novelist K-8 to help them find good fiction books to read. Note: Input your library card number when prompted and you will be directed to the EBSCO suite of databases. From there, click the Novelist product of your choice.
